Scope of Work
- Worked with GCC for project feasibility studies to determine the most effective method for improving facility operations
- New layout to redirect truck route and rail unloading at Irondale
- Dealt with height restrictions and lowered the dome 10 feet and the reclaim tower 25 feet
- Removed 5,100 yd3 of top soil and lean clay at Irondale
- Deep foundations under the reclaim tunnel and around perimeter of dome
- Design of 40 4-foot diameter caissons every 16 feet under storage dome
