Matrix PDM Engineering provided multi-discipline design and support services to blend denatured ethanol, pure ethanol and gasoline/denaturant.
Scope of Work
- Recommissioned an 8-in. transfer line and design for a new 16-in. line with an automated valve for petroleum products
- (2) new 500 GPM self-priming unloading pumps and a new 2,000 GPM barge pump for denatured ethanol
- Line manifolds with existing 12-in. barge line and existing 10-in
- Cyclohexane line
- New 1,600 to 2,400 GPM barge pump for ethanol transfer
- Design for a new truck loading arm
- Existing 8 and 13-in. lines for pure ethanol
- Existing 6-in. line for the pure ethanol
- Reconditioned 80 to 120 GPM transfer pump for gasoline
- Existing 10-in. D/L or 8-inch D/L lines for the gasoline
- Meters and controls for blending
- PLC programming for valve automation at the dock
- Piping design and layout
